CLOTHING CLOSET
AMWA has established a Clothing Closet in collaboration with ICNA Relief in Glendale, AZ.
Most refugees are resettled near this area by agencies like AIRS, Catholic Charities, IRC and Lutheran Social Services. Our objective is to ease the transition of newly arrived refugee families by providing clothing for the entire family in a dignified manner. The families come to the closet and pick out what they need.
We have adult western and ethnic clothes, children’s clothes ( packaged by size/age), book-n-toy kits, shoes, undergarments, socks, personal hygiene items, cleaning powder, bedsheets, curtains, etc.
